Karting Superstar – Levi Ross

Levi is a young kid that loves to race go karts. He races both dirt and bitumen, although dirt is his favourite as he is able to send it into the corners.

Bitumen is great for developing his race craft which he is achieving every time he hits the track. When Levi is older, he wants to race a Sprintcar at Speedway or an Excel at The Bend Motorsport Park.

With huge aspirations and determination Levi is one of our youth sponsored athletes.

Last year 2021, on bitumen, Levi placed 1st in the Kartsport SA State Championship, 1st in Kartsport SA Junior Season Championship, placed 4th in the Festival State Cup Series for Karting SA and was awarded Club Champion for his class at his home track – Go Kart Club of SA in Monarto.

Up until July this year on dirt, Levi was racing in a non competitive class due to his age but scored multiple heat and final race wins through out the season.

Bitumen – At the beginning of this year, Levi moved up a class which is a very tough and talented field. This year is aimed at developing and refining driving techniques. Levi is Currently competing in the South Australian Festival State Cup Series and the Victorian Country Series.

Dirt – Levi only moved up a class in July when he turned 9. He’s already showing good pace and finishing mid pack racing against 9 – 14 year olds. He is hoping to get closer to that podium by the end of the year.

In October, Levi will race the 2022 Australian Title on dirt at Tatiara Kart Club in Bordertown.
