Karting Superstar – Levi Ross
Junior Sponsorship
Levi has been racing since he was 5 years old in a dirt kart. Up until 2023, he was racing both dirt and bitumen. In 2024, he was focussed on bitumen as he wanted to hone in on his race craft.
Levi currently races 2 classes on bitumen – 4 stroke (4SS Junior) and 2 stroke (KA3 Junior).
Levi dreams to be able to race a V8 Supercar one day. When he is older (age 14), Levi would like to race an Excel at The Bend Motorsport Park but there is a good chance they won’t be running by the time he is old enough to race.
Levi enjoys the mechanical side of karting as well. Building and fixing interests him and he hopes to continue after school to study Bachelor of Technology (Motorsports). If that doesn’t work, he would also like to be a Pilot or Paramedic.
Levi’s highlights for 2025 were:
- Finished 3rd out of 20 competitors – Festival State Cup Series (secured a podium at the awards dinner!)
- Finished 10th out of 35 in the highly competitive Victorian Country Series (6 round series across VIC)
- Club Champion – Go Kart Club of SA (Junior Heavy class)
- Finished 2nd at the Bend Motorsport Park for Kartsport SA
- Winner – Encouragement Award, Horsham Kart Club
- Multiple podium finishes across SA and Victoria
- Travelled 11,246 kms (and that’s not counting metro tracks!)
- Made his radio debut with 5MU in February this year. I was Isabella Taylor’s special guest.
