Karting Superstar – Levi Ross

Junior Sponsorship: Levi is 11 years old and loves racing go karts.

Levi has been racing since he was 5 years old in a dirt kart. Up until 2023, he was racing both dirt and bitumen. In 2024, he was focussed on bitumen as he wanted to hone in on his race craft.
Levi currently races 2 classes on bitumen – 4 stroke (4SS Junior) and 2 stroke (KA3 Junior).

Levi dreams to be able to race a V8 Supercar one day. When he is older (age 14), Levi would like to race an Excel at The Bend Motorsport Park but there is a good chance they won’t be running by the time he is old enough to race.

Levi enjoys the mechanical side of karting as well. Building and fixing interests him and he hopes to continue after school to study Bachelor of Technology (Motorsports). If that doesn’t work, he would also like to be a Pilot or Paramedic.

Levi’s highlights for 2024 were:
• The prestigious Kevin Jenner Sportsmanship Award. This award is given to an SA driver who shows excellent sportsmanship on and off the track. To received this award is quite the honour.
• State Champion Winner for 4SS Junior (back to back win – still holding the title win from 2023).
• Club Champion for 4SS Junior for the Go Kart Club of SA.
• Finished Second for Ultimate Club Racer in 4SS Junior.
• Multiple podium finishes.
• Finished 4th out of 15 competitors in KA3 Junior Heavy for the Festival State Cup Series (just missing the podium by 167 points).
• Awarded Volunteer of the month for assisting in the canteen, working bees and helping mum officiate.
• Featured in the Five Lights Graphics & Design Trading Card Series in Australia.
